Don't worry we understand how confusing it can be to understand the difference between hair types so here is a quick easy break down.
- Our Remy human hair has the cuticles intact, aligned and the diameter of each strand is medium so the hair is not too thick or too fine. When the cuticle is preserved, the hair maintains its natural movement, fluidity, and silky texture. Average lifespan is 1.5 years to two years.
- Our luxury synthetic hair is an exact replica of European Human Hair, which is the finest most sought-after hair in the world! Average lifespan 1 year to 1.5 years. You are getting the best of both worlds!
- Our heat-friendly synthetic hair is a step up from a traditional synthetic wig because it is less shiny, tangles less, and heat tools can be used to easily change the style. The average lifespan is 6-8 months.
- Traditional synthetic hair, which Encelia does not sell, has a high shiny factory, tangles easily with heat or movement and the style can not be changed, which is why we don't offer it to our customers.
Great question! Although base headband just looks like any old headband, there is more going on.
We have incorporated a special element along the perimeter, which prevents the base headband from over stretching. It is still flexible but restricted; perfectly hugs your head without the need for any wig grips, tape or adhesive.
The no-slip base ribbed headband is a mix of dark grey and black, which mix of color creates an optical illusion.
We include two additional headbands, which can easily be worn on top of the base headband.

Because the headband wig by Encelia Hair is 100% hand-tied, it can be worn up or down. Heat tools (flat irons and curling irons) can be used on all our hair types:
- Premium, Remy Human Hair: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius
- Luxury Synthetic: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius.
- Heat-Friendly Synthetic: 280-300 degrees or 137-148 Celsius.
