It is the same wig, which is a multifunctional wig that can be worn during intense exercise or for more causal looks. You can really change the look by simply layering it with a nice silk scarf or a different headband. Most wig wearers doesn't seem to understand the different ways to wear this wig so we created a separate page. You can also wear a beanie with this wig and it looks incredible because it isn't bulky like a wig.

Don't worry we understand how confusing it can be to understand the difference between hair types so here is a quick easy break down.
- Our Remy human hair is very high quality; the cuticle are intact and aligned. When the cuticle is preserved, the hair maintains its natural movement, fluidity, and silky texture. The thickness (diameter) of each strand is medium so the hair is not too thick or too fine. Average lifespan is 1.5 years to two years.
- Our luxury synthetic hair is an exact replica of European Human Hair, which is the finest, most sought-after, hair in the world! The hair feels, moves and behaves like the best human hair in the world. Average lifespan 1 year to 1.5 years so it is a long life synthetic.
- Our heat-friendly synthetic hair is a step up from a traditional synthetic wig because it is less shiny, tangles less, and heat tools can be used to easily change the style. The average lifespan is 6-8 months.
- Traditional synthetic hair, which Encelia does not sell, tends to be very shiny, tangles easily and the style can not be changed.

Because the headband wig by Encelia Hair is 100% hand-tied, it can be worn up or down. Heat tools (flat irons and curling irons) can be used on all our hair types:
- Premium, Remy Human Hair: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius
- Luxury Synthetic: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius.
- Heat-Friendly Synthetic: 280-300 degrees or 137-148 Celsius.

Yes, the headband wig is 100% hand tied so it easy to wear the hair up. Ponytails, top knots, french braids are super easy to do in this wig because the headband cups the head and you don't have to worry about the edge or perimeter of the wig showing.
Yes, you can! Just keep in mind that water is heavy so if you completely submerge the wig in water it might feel top heavy. The headband wig is LACE FREE, you do not have to worry about the cap stretching out. We recommend pulling the hair up so it doesn't get soaked but if the hair get wet don't worry the hair will be fine. Most of all enjoy yourself and when you're done, rinse and conditioner the hair.
Yes, you can. The headband wig is lightweight, seamless and cooling so it is very comfortable to wear making it ideal for women who want to sleep in hair.

Yes, you can. The heat settings for the synthetic hair ranges from 280-300 degrees. Most saunas and hot yoga rooms range from 90-160 degrees so your hair will be fine. Our founder goes in the sauna all the time. If the hair feels hot, just apply some water to the hair.
Yes, the headband wig is 100% hand tied so you can easily braid this wig. There are no styling limits - wear it up, down, curl it or wear it straight.
The lifespan of your headband wig will vary between 6 and 24 months, depending mostly on the hair type you choose and then on its maintenance and frequency of use. More detailed information can be found here.
Currently, we only have one length in stock, which is 14"/20". All of our wigs can be taken to a stylist for a cut or trim.
In April 2025, we will have an 8" French bob and a 12" Italian bob. These are part of our invisible layers collections which means that the ends of the wig will be full and not tapered.
CUSTOM REQUESTS: We also can make a wig in any length and in any color that you desire so if you do see a length or style that you like please reach out to us to learn more about custom requests. Timeline is 2-3.5 months
The headband wig has a medium density, which looks very natural while still being lightweight and airy. You will have enough hair to create an average size, natural looking ponytail.

Unlike most synthetic wigs, curling the luxury synthetic hair by Encelia is easy. In general, you can treat the the luxury synthetic hair like your own hair, it can be easily straightened, curled blow-dried, styled.

Unlike other synthetic wigs, Encelia's luxury synthetic can be washed & styled with "normal" hair shampoo and conditioner but there are some things to consider like the use of lightweight shampoos and conditioners.

The luxury synthetic hair has the same lifelike characteristics as human hair. It moves, feels and behaves like normal hair. Just like your own hair, our luxury synthetic hair can be easily straightened, styled, and curled. Unlike other synthetic wigs, our luxury synthetic hair is easy to curl and doesn't require a long hold time to cool or set the curl. You can use any styling product, except oil, so hair spray, moose, paste, etc.
Overtime, all synthetic wigs will have dry, fuzzy ends but that doesn't mean that your synthetic wig needs to be thrown away. Your heat friendly synthetic hair can easily be revived in less than 10 minutes. Think of this like a deep conditioner treatment for synthetic hair. All you need is a water bottle, flat iron, and a teasing brush

The lifespan of your luxury synthetic wig will vary between 12 and 18 months, depending on care and frequency of use. The luxury synthetic hair has a special coating which prevents the hair from tangling so it is crucial follow our care guide and use the proper products to help keep your luxury synthetic wig soft and silky while prolonging its lifespan.
