It is the same wig, which is a multifunctional wig that can be worn during intense exercise or for more causal looks. You can really change the look by simply layering it with a nice silk scarf or a different headband. Most wig wearers doesn't seem to understand the different ways to wear this wig so we created a separate page. You can also wear a beanie with this wig and it looks incredible because it isn't bulky like a wig.

Because the headband wig by Encelia Hair is 100% hand-tied, it can be worn up or down. Heat tools (flat irons and curling irons) can be used on all our hair types:
- Premium, Remy Human Hair: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius
- Luxury Synthetic: 285-305 degrees Fahrenheit or 140-150 Celsius.
- Heat-Friendly Synthetic: 280-300 degrees or 137-148 Celsius.

Yes, the headband wig is 100% hand tied so it easy to wear the hair up. Ponytails, top knots, french braids are super easy to do in this wig because the headband cups the head and you don't have to worry about the edge or perimeter of the wig showing.
Yes, you can! Just keep in mind that water is heavy so if you completely submerge the wig in water it might feel top heavy. The headband wig is LACE FREE, you do not have to worry about the cap stretching out. We recommend pulling the hair up so it doesn't get soaked but if the hair get wet don't worry the hair will be fine. Most of all enjoy yourself and when you're done, rinse and conditioner the hair.
Yes, you can. The headband wig is lightweight, seamless and cooling so it is very comfortable to wear making it ideal for women who want to sleep in hair.

Yes, you can. The heat settings for the synthetic hair ranges from 280-300 degrees. Most saunas and hot yoga rooms range from 90-160 degrees so your hair will be fine. Our founder goes in the sauna all the time. If the hair feels hot, just apply some water to the hair.
Yes, the headband wig is 100% hand tied so you can easily braid this wig. There are no styling limits - wear it up, down, curl it or wear it straight.
The lifespan of your headband wig will vary between 6 and 24 months, depending mostly on the hair type you choose and then on its maintenance and frequency of use. More detailed information can be found here.
Currently, we only have one length in stock, which is 14"/20". All of our wigs can be taken to a stylist for a cut or trim.
In April 2025, we will have an 8" French bob and a 12" Italian bob. These are part of our invisible layers collections which means that the ends of the wig will be full and not tapered.
CUSTOM REQUESTS: We also can make a wig in any length and in any color that you desire so if you do see a length or style that you like please reach out to us to learn more about custom requests. Timeline is 2-3.5 months
The headband wig has a medium density, which looks very natural while still being lightweight and airy. You will have enough hair to create an average size, natural looking ponytail.

Heat friendly synthetic wigs can be curled with a curling iron, but, it's important to know that, the curl takes as the hair cools. Many women get frustrated curling heat friendly synthetic wigs because they treating the fiber like human hair. The reason the curl didn't take is because you didn't allow the hair didn't cool or set for long enough.
The best technique we have found involves actually putting your wig in hot rollers and then putting it in the oven at a low temperature and then allowing the hair to cool and set overnight.

Washing a heat friendly synthetic wig is easy and low maintenance but it does require shampoo and conditioner, that is formulated to treat the specific fiber. Using other products can be build up, dull the color and cause the hair to tangle shortening it's lifespan.
